Sword Fight

2023

Alejandro Ferrandiz, Kailin Hartley

¼” cables rewired to copper tubing, the interaction of copper strap-ons, directly tethered and amplified, projects guttural frequencies as the rods meet.

Originating from the locker-room act of sword fighting with penises,

Sword Fight re-enacts the erotic yet mechanical act typically void of queerness, an act of comfort within masculinity in a heterosexual space, while inviting the queer perspective to join in on the absurdity.
